Magi is an internationally acclaimed wedding photographer, world traveler and a seasoned lawyer running multiple businesses at once. Away from her lenses Magi is a seasoned business coach and motivating spokeswoman sharing business advice and behind-the-scenes revelations.
Magi came to Deeply Rooted Studio last year in August where we kicked off a High Calibre Retainer together, in full force.

THE PROBLEM
Magi wanted to rebrand and focus on multiple businesses. This could only be achieved through long-term Retainer services paired with custom projects. During our time together (6 months) we were able to continue to keep her current directions of each business running whilst rebranding and building new ones.
The Artists’ Lawyer Complete Makeover
TAL is a contract template shop for online entrepreneurs and creatives. As Magi’s vision of this brand grew, it became more and more complicated and time consuming for her to manage this Shop through Showit. So the decision had to be made. We have decided to switch over to SHOPIFY.
THE BIG CHANGE
This wasn’t an easy decision, and I never force any kind of change unless the client is well informed about the pros and cons. However in this case the pros outweigh the cons of staying at Showit. But because Showit is very hard to manage as a SHOP, this was the best decision we could have made for this business.
We have started with a complete Brand Direction revamp that is more aligned with future goals and vision for this business. Magi has previously DIYed the branding for TAL, but this was a perfect time to create a more elevated look. Magi also wanted all of her brands to be more distinguished from each other, which we have definitely accomplished!
The website was switched over to Shopify and built from scratch. We looked at its previous performance and optimized all pages for ultimate success – conversion. We wanted to make sure that the message is clear and the website easy to navigate so that everyone will always end up taking action. We’ve also simplified a lot of the pages and overall websites’ flow compared to the previous site.
THE IN BETWEEN
In the meantime we also had to take care of the current branding needs. We’ve done a few website updates until the new website’s launched in January 2022 to make sure that Magi was still receiving SALES while we were revamping everything behind the scenes. This included Email Design, custom Social Media Graphics and Brand Consultancy to ensure everything is working like a Swiss clock.
THE RESULT
The Artists’ Lawyer is now self-sufficient, meaning it basically runs itself (at least to some extent). Branding is now in a complete alignment with the core message and the future of the market.

East And Bay Law Firm Group
A boutique law firm that works exclusively with small businesses, creatives, artists, innovators, athletes and multi-venture entrepreneurs. This is one of Magis’ businesses that focuses on custom 1:1 legal services – previously Magdalena Legal.
Magi only works with a handful of high caliber clients per year under this brand so we needed it to be tailored to exclusive clients only.
We’ve created a completely new direction that speaks Elevated, Exclusive, Luxurious, Professional and Timeless.
Magdalena Booth – New Name Dropping This Year
As we are still in the process of finishing up a few final touches of this brand, I am not able to say more than a few words here.
The new direction of this brand is Funky, Retro YET still feels like home to Magi – elevated and chic! We have created a completely new direction and branding for this business with a unique twist so stay tuned!
